The Aage and Margareta Moller Endowed Scholarship was established for the support of degree-seeking students who demonstrate financial need. A preference will be given to students with the greatest financial need and to students who do not meet criteria for other sources of financial aid. Additionally, a preference will be given to undergraduate students, although graduate students may be considered based on compelling financial need. Ashraf Habibullah N.E.D. Scholarship/ Fellowship
The Ashraf Habibullah N.E.D. Scholarship/Fellowship was established as a permanent endowment for the support of undergraduate and graduate students at UT Dallas. To be eligible, applicants must be full-time incoming or current UT Dallas students, must have at least a 3.0 cumulative GPA, must be U.S. citizens, U.S. permanent residents or international students, and must demonstrate financial need by having a financial statement or FAFSA on file. Among equally qualified applicants, a preference will be given to applicants who have completed all or part of their preparatory education in Pakistan; have a connection to Pakistan through their family, community, or employment; or are active members of the UT Dallas Pakistani Student Association. Axxess Scholarship for the Jonsson School
Funds distributed from this endowment shall be used in accordance with the Regents' Rules and Regulations and applicable policies and shall be used to award annual undergraduate scholarships of at least $1,000 per year as chosen by a committee duly appointed by the dean of the Jonsson School.
Eligibility Criteria:
1. Applicants must be full-time UT Dallas students.
2. Applicants must be an incoming or current junior or an incoming or current senior pursuing an undergraduate degree offered by the department of computer science in the Jonsson School.
3. Applicants must have at least a 3.3 cumulative GPA.
4. Applicants must be U.S. citizens, U.S. permanent residents or international students.
5. Among equally qualified applicants, preference will be given to students who 1.) demonstrate the greatest potential for success in the field of computer science and/or software engineering and 2.) demonstrate leadership abilities, community volunteerism or work experience.
6. Recipients must sign a release form, in accordance with the Family Education Rights and Privacy Act of 1974 (FERPA), allowing UT Dallas to use application material for scholarship purposes. If the recipient(s) continue to meet the criteria, the recipient(s) may continue to receive the scholarship until the completion of his/her undergraduate degree offered by the department of computer science or up to 2 years, whichever occurs first. However, if the recipient(s) cumulative GPA falls below a 3.3 and/or the recipient(s) is no longer a full-time student, the recipient(s) may be given one semester to raise his/her cumulative GPA to a 3.3 and enroll as a full-time student in order to continue receiving this scholarship. During this time, the recipient(s) will continue to receive a scholarship distribution. Bangladeshi Student Organization Alumni Scholarship
The Bangladeshi Student Organization Alumni Scholarship was established for the support of undergraduate and graduate students. To be eligible, applicants must be incoming or current UT Dallas students who have at least two (2) semesters remaining prior to graduation, must have at least a 3.0 cumulative GPA, must be U.S. citizens, U.S. permanent residents or international students, and must demonstrate financial need by having a financial statement or FAFSA on file. Among equally qualified applicants, a preference may be given to applicants who have received all or part of their preparatory education in Bangladesh or have some other connection to Bangladesh through their family or work. BankUnited iCARE Scholarship Fund
The BankUnited iCARE Scholarship Fund was established to provide scholarships of $15,000/year for 2 years to full-time undergraduate students at UT Dallas. Applicants must be enrolled as a sophomore at UT Dallas with at least at 2.5 cumulative GPA. The scholarship is open to U.S. citizens and U.S. permanent residents. Among equally qualified applicants, preference will be given to students who 1) are participants in UT Dallas’ Undergraduate Success Scholars, Transfer Mentor Program, or First Generation Program, and 2) demonstrate the greatest financial need.

Douglas Aundre Peterson Scholarship Fund
The Douglas Aundre Peterson Fund for Homeless Students was established in 2019 and upgraded to the Douglas Aundre Peterson Scholarship Fund in 2023 to provide support for need-based scholarships for UT Dallas students. To be eligible, applicants must be pursuing an undergraduate degree at UT Dallas, must be U.S. citizens, U.S. permanent residents or international students, and must demonstrate exceptional financial need by having a financial statement or FAFSA on file. Preference will be given to applicants who are or have previously been homeless and/or have made a positive impact on the lives of homeless persons through volunteerism, advocacy or similar activities. Dr. Gopal Gupta Fellowship in Computer Science
Funds distributed from this endowment shall be used in accordance with the Regents' Rules and Regulations and applicable policies and will be used to attract the world's top scholars in computer science by providing one-year fellowships to incoming master's students who have not received a teaching or research assistantship. Fellowship recipients will be chosen by a committee duly appointed by the dean of the Erik Jonsson School of Engineering and Computer Science.

England Family Scholarship in Engineering and Computer Science
- US Citizen/US Permanent Resident/International student;
- Full-time (12 hours or more for the long semester) pursuing an undergraduate degree in the Jonsson School;

First Graduates Scholarship
The First Graduates Scholarship Fund was established in honor of the Class of 1973, when UT Dallas was only one building and consisted of three students: Ron Hawkins, Susan (Mahlum) Doe, and Wang-Kong Lam. These funds will be used to provide support to undergraduate students at The University of Texas at Dallas. To be eligible, applicants must be full-time UT Dallas students who are classified as a Junior or Senior, must have at least a 3.0 cumulative GPA, and must submit two letters of recommendation. 4. Students enrolled in a minimum of 12 semester hours. A minimum of $5,000 will be awarded to each recipient annually. Goldman Sachs Excellence in Computer Science Scholarship
- U.S. citizen/permanent resident/international student;
- Must not have been previously awarded a Goldman Sachs provided scholarship;
- Must not have already received other scholarship support totaling at least fifty (50) percent of tuition and fees;
- Must be a Junior or Senior undergraduate student pursuing a degree offered by the Computer Science Department (CS, SE Data Science) in Fall 2021;
- Must have at least two (2) long semesters remaining to complete undergraduate degree in the Department of Computer Science;
- Maintain a minimum UTD GPA of 3.5 or above;
- Among equally qualified applicants, preference will be given to applicants who are both in good standing with UTD’s Computing Scholars Honors Program and active in one or more of the following UTD student organizations: ACM, Women Who Compute, Society of Women Engineers, National Society of Black Engineers, Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers, or Out in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics;

Greater Texas Foundation Removing Educational Barriers Scholarship
The Greater Texas Foundation seeks to serve the citizens and educational institutions of Texas by supporting initiatives that increase access to higher education, support teachers, and encourage parental and community involvement in education. The funds from this endowment will be used for undergraduate need-based scholarships. To be eligible, applicants must be U.S. citizens or U.S. permanent residents or a student who has lived in Texas for at least part of their high school experience. HASAL Scholarship
The Hasal Scholarship was established in 2024 by Fatima Hassan-Salam and Junaid Salam for the support of incoming, transfer or current students pursuing an undergraduate degree at UT Dallas. To be eligible, applicants must be pursuing a STEM-related undergraduate degree, must have at least a 2.75 cumulative GPA and must demonstrate financial need by having either a financial statement, FAFSA or TAFSA on file at UT Dallas. The HumCap STEM scholarship was established for the support of first-generation undergraduate students at UT Dallas. To be eligible, applicants must be full-time incoming or current UT Dallas students pursuing an undergraduate degree in a science, technology, engineering, or math (STEM) field, must be in good academic standing, must be U.S. citizens, U.S. permanent residents or international students, and must be first-generation college students who can demonstrate financial need by having a financial statement or FAFSA on file. Ivan Sotelo Fellowship
The Ivan Sotelo Scholarship was established by Jennifer Sotelo in memory of her late husband, Alumnus Ivan Sotelo (B.S. Speech-Language Pathology & Audiology '11) for the support of incoming or current graduate students at UT Dallas. To be eligible, applicants must be pursuing a graduate degree, must have at least a 3.0 cumulative GPA, and must demonstrate financial need by having a financial statement or FAFSA on file. Among equally qualified applicants, a preference may be given to applicants who (a) have completed all or part of their preparatory education in Mexico, (b) are children or grandchildren of individuals who lived ten years or more in Mexico, or (c) are active in the Mexican community. The Judy and Larry Sall Scholarship Fund was established as a permanent endowment for the support of undergraduate students at UT Dallas. Funds distributed from the endowment will be used to provide scholarship support for undergraduate students enrolled in engineering. Recipients shall be chosen based on financial need, socio-economic status, and academic potential. This scholarship is not limited to United States citizen or permanent residents. Eligibility Criteria:
1. Applicants must be eligible to receive a scholarship through the UT Dallas Comet Scholars Program.

Mustang Technology Scholarship in Engineering and Computer Sciences
Funds distributed from the endowment shall be used exclusively to provide scholarships to undergraduates enrolled in the Jonsson School. The scholarship selection committee will be appointed by the dean of the Jonsson School. This committee will make recommendations to the dean, and the dean will have final approval of each scholarship recipient. Recipients shall be U.S. citizens or permanent residents and will have attained at least a sophomore status and will be chosen based on academic merit which includes a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher and the potential to succeed in achieving an undergraduate degree in engineering or computer science. A recipient of an annual award must maintain a GPA of at least 3.0 if they are to receive the second semester award. Scholarships may be awarded to the same recipient more than once as long as they are on track to achieve an undergraduate degree and maintain a GPA of 3.0 or higher. Scholarships will be awarded competitively as defined by the Texas Education Code. The minimum annual award shall be whatever amount qualifies the recipient(s) for a waiver of out-of-state tuition rates, although it is not necessary that the student be from out-of-state. At the present time, a competitively awarded annual scholarship in the amount of $1,000 qualifies the scholarship recipient(s) for in-state tuition. It is the donor's intent that the funds distributed from the endowment will be used to benefit as many qualified recipients as possible, provided each award meets the minimum for out-of-state tuition waiver.

Northwood Woman's Club Scholarship
Northwood Woman's Club raises funds through annual charitable events and distributes these funds to provide much needed services to women and children in Dallas, Denton and Collin counties. The organization established the endowed scholarship at UTD in 1986. The members remain dedicated to providing funds to support this scholarship. To be eligible, applicants must be full-time students pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree at UT Dallas, must be U.S. citizens or U.S. permanent residents, must reside in Colin, Dallas or Denton County, Texas, and must demonstrate financial need by having a financial statement or FAFSA on file. The Ram Lal Seekri Scholarship honors the memory of Ram Lal Seekri, who strongly believed in the value of education and helping others. Ryan Siddique Scholarship Fund
The Ryan Siddique Scholarship Fund was established in honor of Ryan Siddique who earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in criminology from UT Dallas. Ryan suffered from epilepsy from an early age, but remained courageous and compassionate and continued to live his life to the fullest while living with his condition. This scholarship will support undergraduate and graduate students pursing a degree at UT Dallas.
To be eligible, applicants must be enrolled full-time at UT Dallas and must be U.S. citizens or U.S. permanent residents. First preference will be given to students who are pursuing a degree in the School of Economic, Political and Policy Sciences and are eligible for accommodations due to epilepsy or neurological seizures as determined by the Office of Student AccessAbility. Funds distributed from the endowment shall be used for scholarships for undergraduate engineering students who are enrolled in at least six semester credit hours and demonstrate a combination of academic merit and financial need. Scott Wuensch Memorial Scholarship
This scholarship was established by Michael and Sandra Wuensch to honor the memory of their UT Dallas-bound son, Scott. To be eligible, applicants must be full-time UT Dallas students pursuing an undergraduate degree in a science, technology, engineering, or math (STEM) field (Degrees in the School of Arts, Technology, and Emerging Communication may be considered STEM-related degrees), must demonstrate academic merit, must be U.S. citizens, U.S. permanent residents or international students, and must demonstrate financial need by having a financial statement or FAFSA on file. Preference will be given to applicants who are active in one of the UT Dallas registered student organizations that educates students and/or the community on the principles of the Christian faith as well as exhibit one or more of Scott’s attributes: strong personal beliefs, leadership, love of learning, love of music and the arts, and service to others. If the recipient(s) continues to meet the criteria, the recipient(s) may continue to receive the scholarship until the completion of his/her first STEM undergraduate degree or to five (5) years, whichever occurs first. This scholarship will be awarded by a committee duly appointed by the president or provost of UT Dallas. Selden Leavell Endowed Scholarship
This scholarship was established to honor Selden Leavell, who was a graduate of The University of Texas Law School. Recipients will be chosen solely based on proven academic achievement and financial need. Scholarship amounts will range from $500 to $2,000. This scholarship will be awarded by a committee duly appointed by the president or provost of UT Dallas. The Sjoerd Steunebrink Scholarship was established in 1999 by Dr. Sjoerd Steunebrink who created scholarships for students in the 13 UT System Institutions. This scholarship is awarded to qualified UT Dallas students, excluding law and pre-law students, based on proven academic ability and financial need. Society of Iranian-American Women for Education Scholarship/Fellowship
The Society of Iranian-American Women for Education (SIAWE) Scholarship was established for the support of undergraduate and graduate students. To be eligible, applicants must be current UT Dallas student pursuing a degree at UT Dallas, undergraduate students must have at least a 3.0 cumulative GPA and graduate students must have at least a 3.5 cumulative GPA, must be U.S. citizens, U.S. permanent residents or international students, and must demonstrate financial need by having a financial statement or FAFSA on file. Among equally qualified applicants, a preference may be given to applicants who have completed all or part of their preparatory education in Iran, have a connection to Iran, or are active in the UT Dallas Iranian Student Community. This scholarship will be awarded by a committee duly appointed by the president or provost of UT Dallas. Funds distributed from this endowment shall be used in accordance with the Regents' Rules and Regulations and applicable policies and shall be used to award undergraduate scholarships as chosen by a committee duly appointed by the dean of the Jonsson School.
Eligibility Criteria:
1. Applicants must be incoming or current UT Dallas students.
2. Applicants must be full-time students.
3. Applicants must be pursuing an undergraduate degree offered by the Department of Computer Science in the Jonsson School.
4. Applicants must have at least a 3.0 cumulative GPA.
5. Applicants must be U.S. citizens or U.S. permanent residents
6. Applicants must demonstrate financial need by completing either a financial statement or FAFSA.
7. Among equally qualified applicants, preference will be given to applicants who are either active in a UT Dallas registered student organization that promotes women in STEM or have made an impact toward advancing women in STEM through volunteerism, advocacy or similar activities. By university policy, all registered student organizations are prohibited from unlawful discrimination, including harassment, on the basis of gender, race, color, national origin, religion, age, veteran status, or disability. Texas Instruments Analog Excellence Graduate Fellowship
TxACE offers the TI Analog Excellence Graduate Fellowship to a full-time graduate student who is interested in pursuing PhD research in analog circuit design and engineering at UT Dallas. The awardee will receive a fellowship of $25,000/year in addition to a research assistantship (RA) appointment sponsored by a UTD faculty member that carries additional stipends and a tuition/fee waiver for a full-time graduate load. The total award amount is approximately $75,000/year. Duration of the award is four years provided good standing at UT Dallas.
This fellowship provides an outstanding research and educational opportunity for students with potential for achievements at the highest level and is available to students who apply to a PhD program for 2024 in the Erik Jonsson School of Engineering and Computer Science at UTD.
The Dr. Anson L. Clark Presidential Scholarship
The Dr. Anson L. Clark Presidential Scholarship was established to honor the memory of a remarkable individual who amassed a sizable fortune throughout a highly unusual and successful career - first as an engineer, then as a physician at the Mayo Clinic, and finally as a businessman in the oil and banking industries. Clark's philanthropic activities have for many decades supported scholarly endeavors at a number of Texas colleges and universities. These funds will be used to support outstanding students with high academic and personal qualities. This scholarship will be awarded by a committee duly appointed by the president or provost of UT Dallas. The George Grimmer, III Memorial Scholarship

- Full-time undergraduate student majoring in degree offered in the Jonsson School;

The UTD Alumni Scholarship was established for the support of undergraduate and graduate students who demonstrate a need for scholarship assistance. U.T. Dallas Presidential Achievement Scholarship
The UT Dallas Presidential Achievement Scholarship was established to reward successful UT Dallas students who possess exemplary academic records. Scholarships will be based solely on academic merit. The minimum award is $2,500 per year not to exceed $10,000 over a consecutive four-year period (prorated in the case of sophomore or transfer students). Recipients must make satisfactory progress toward a degree to retain the scholarship (retain enrollment for at least two semesters during each academic year with the completion of at least 24 semester hours and with NO grade less than C). This scholarship will be awarded by a committee duly appointed by the president or provost of UT Dallas. UTD Woman's Club-Amelia A. Lundell Textbook Scholarship Fund
This scholarship was established to honor Amelia Lundell, the wife of Cyrus Lundell. Mr. Lundell was a founder of the Lundell Herbarium which is now part of the U.T. Plant Resources Center, the largest herbarium in the southwestern United States. The purpose of this endowment is to provide funds for the purchase of textbooks. This scholarship will be awarded by a committee duly appointed by the president or provost of UT Dallas.
